John E. Kot, Sr., 94, of West Hartford, beloved husband of the late Angeline M. "Lee" (Notarangelo) Kot, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015.
Born in Poland, he had lived in West Hartford most of his life. Prior to his retirement John was employed by the Dept. of Health, State of CT. John is survived by three daughters; Patricia Giliberto and her husband, Joseph of West Hartford, Joan Sullivan of South Windsor and Lorraine Green and her husband, Bob of Apopka, FL; a son, John Kot and his wife, Tracy of Rocky Hill; seven grandchildren; Stacy, Francine, Marc, Daniel, Robert, Kelly, Carrie, Peter and Bob and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral and burial will be private. The Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford has care of the arrangements.
