The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Frank Janis can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: We are so very saddened by the sudden passing of our cousin , Frank ( Hank).

He will be sadly missed, but I will have wonderful memories as Hank and I shared many happy childhood days, and I will always remember his gentle personality , his warm smile, and his humor.

Rest in eternal peace, Hank. We will remember you in our daily prayers.

Love, cousin Lorraine and husband, Henry.

Condolence From: Mary and Rich Carotenuti
Condolence: Dear Kathy, Arlene, Barbara, Louise and the entire Janis family; we were so sorry to hear of cousin Hank's passing. I will always remember my summer vacations on Wheeler Lane and how nice Hank was to me. He was out-numbered by us girls ... but still kept a smile on his face. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sorrow. Although he has left his family behind, I believe that he is now re-united with his parents and sister Jean. I hope you find some comfort in that. love, Mary and Rich.

Condolence: Dear Mrs. Janis, Trevor, Matt and Families,

I am thinking of you at this time and are so very sorry for your loss. Mr. Janis was always fast to offer a smile and a bright hello and I will remember him fondly. It was an honor to know him over the course of so many years and seeing how much he enjoyed his grandchildren and all of you.

I will always remember the fun times we had watching those cross country races and then to finally be standing on the sideline when Frank would run the Celebrate West Hartford Race! What a trooper he was!! My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to you all. Wanda Jones
