Ermelinda (Cassassanta) Tedeschi, 90, of Lebanon, formerly of Hartford, beloved wife of the late Antonio Tedeschi, died Thursday, June 2, 2016. Born in Rocacasale, Abburzzi L'Aquilla, Italy, daughter of the late Michele and Francesca (DiFillippo) Cassassanta , she moved to Hartford in 1961, where she lived for many years. Prior to her retirement, she was employed at the Royal Typewriter Co. and was a communicant of St. Lawrence O'Toole Church, Hartford. She is survived by a daughter and two sons-in-law, Maria and Michael Palombizio of Lebanon and Roger Palombizio of Tolland; a sister-in-law, Maria D'Andre; two brothers-in-law, Joseph and Mario Tedeschi, two brothers in Italy; six grandchildren, Victoria, Laura, Joseph, Matthew, Jacob and Sophia and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Tedeschi is reunited with her beloved daughter, Lorena Palombizio who predeceased her and a great-grandson Aiden Joseph Palombizio. Calling hours will be Sunday (June 5) from 3 - 6 p.m. at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford. Relatives and friends may gather Monday, (June 6), 10:00 a.m. in St. Lawrence O'Toole Church, 494 New Britain Ave., Hartford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Everyone is requested to meet at the Church. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. To our dearest mother and grandmother, thank you for all your delicious dinners, your advice, time and unconditional sacrifices and love you have given us through your life.
