Rosalia G.  Branca
Rosalia G. Branca, 79, of Hartford, beloved wife for 59 years to Constantino Branca, passed away peacefully Sunday, September 4, 2016 at Stamford Hospital with her family by her side. With her overwhelming generosity and immense heart, Rosalia embraced a life full of joy, laughter, spirit, and love. Rosalia was born in Amiais de Baixo, Portugal in 1937 and immigrated to the United States with her husband and daughter in 1966. She resided in Hartford where she worked for many years at Arrow Hart Industries. Rosalia will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by the love of her life, her devoted husband Constantino; her daughter, Elia B. Clapis and son-in-law, Paul J. Clapis of Stamford; her sister, Graciete Luzio and brother-in-law, Victor M. Luzio of Wethersfield; her grandsons, Joseph B. Clapis and Christopher J. Clapis; and her many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. Rosalia was predeceased by her parents, Casmiro Gomes and Alzira Parreira, and her two brothers, Augusto Gomes and Fernando Gomes. Funeral procession will be Friday, (September 9), 9:00 am from the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 50 Kane St., Hartford. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
