Angeline Giansiracusa "Angie"  Brancato
Angeline (Giansiracusa) Brancato, 97, of West Hartford, passed away peacefully at The Reservoir on Saturday, October 22, 2016. She was a lifelong resident of West Hartford. Angie was a crossing guard in West Hartford for many years and had retired from Sears at the age of 82. Angie enjoyed cooking, sewing, spending time with her family and spending her summers at her cottage in Westbrook. A loving mother and aunt she will be dearly missed by her son Robert Brancato and his wife Linda of West Hartford; a daughter, Joyce Lombardo and her husband Michael of South Windsor; a sister Concetta Post of Simsbury a beloved grandson Christopher Lombardo and his wife Amy of East Hartford and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by Sebastian "Harry" Brancato and five brothers. Angie's family wishes to thank the staff at the Reservoir for their wonderful care and compassion. Relatives and friends are welcome to gather for Visitation on Wednesday, (October 26), from 9:00 to 10:30 am at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 am at St. Brigid Church, West Hartford. She will be laid to rest in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
