Obituary for Guilhermina de Gouveia Ambrosio

Guilhermina (de Gouveia) Ambrosio, 87,of West Hartford, beloved wife of the late Daniel V.
Ambrosio, died Saturday, October 29, 2016. Born in Madeira Island, Portugal, she came to Hartford in 1967 and had lived in West Hartford since 1981. Prior to her retirement, she worked for H&E Laundry. Guilhermina loved spending time with her family and was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Hartford. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Antonio and Jeanne Ambrosio of Bristol, Joseph and Michelle Ambrosio of Farmington, Maria and Salvatore Gallo of New Britain and Fatima and Shelby Walton of Bloomfield; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers and two sisters all of Madeira Island, Portugal.
Funeral procession will be Friday, (Nov. 4), 10:00 a.m. from the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Hartford. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
Calling hours will be Friday, prior to the funeral from 9:00 am -10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
