Condolence From: Claudia Toussaint
Condolence: Shirley always put a smile on my face when I joined my work family at Barnes in the morning. She shared perspectives on life and family, expressed her love for her children daily and was simply a person who spread joy to those that connected with her. She made each day better than it started, often without realizing it. May we all take a portion of Shirley with us into our lives as we honor her passing. My sincerest condolences to Shirley's family. Claudia Toussaint, former General Counsel, and her family Sam and Scott.

Condolence: Shirley was an amazingly dedicated Receptionist at the Barnes Group Inc where she worked, I believe for nearly 10 years. As SVP HR, at Barnes, I facilited her employment with the Company and she proved over and over that I made the right decision. Shirley had to take 3 buses to get from her home in Hartford to Bristol. Wow! We will miss her friendly demeanor that was always on display. My sympathy goes out to her children and family.

Condolence: Jeremiah 29:11- "For I well know the thoughts that I am thinking toward you,’ declares Jehovah, ‘thoughts of peace, and not of calamity, to give you a future and a hope." Jehovah God has a beautiful hope for Shirley and many others that are now sleeping in death. He will raise them up to live again. (John 5:28,29)
