Obituary for Pauline Burwood (Rollins)

Pauline Rollins Burwood, 103, of West Hartford, passed away peacefully in her sleep, in her home on January 23, 2017. Born in Solon, Maine, on January 23, 1914, Pauline was one of five children. She was the wife of the late Norman Burwood. Pauline was a matriarch in her family which she loved very much. Pauline worked for years at the Aetna, was active in the Elmwood Senior Center, a member of the Elmwood Community Church. She was a family leader and care giver to her nieces, grandnieces and grandnephews. Pauline’s Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 3:00 pm at the Elmwood Community Church, 26 Newington Road, West Hartford, CT 06110 before she is laid to rest alongside her family in Madison, Maine.
