Catherine Louise Geuser, 84, of West Hartford, CT, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2017.
Born April 7, 1933, she grew up in Hartford and moved to West Hartford in 1972.
Louise graduated from Weaver High School and worked for Curtis 1000 for 36 years.
She loved life and treasured Sunday family dinners. Louise was happiest when surrounded by family. She always looked forward to seeing her great-grandchildren. Most of all, Louise made everyone feel welcome and part of the family.
In her spare time, she loved watching the Boston Red Sox, UConn Women's Basketball, taking trips to the casino, and celebrating her Italian heritage through cooking. Louise is survived by her two loving daughters, Deborah (Geuser) Woodward and her husband Warren, and Cheryl Geuser; daughter-in-law, Linda (Noren) Geuser; a special sister, Rosemarie (Ramino) Roche; grandchildren, Warren Woodward II and his wife Jessica, Jesse Geuser and his wife Jill, Michelle (Woodward) Heredia and her husband Emmanuel, and Nick Geuser. In addition, she is survived by her great-grandchildren, whom she loved with all her heart, Marco, Robert and Brandon as well as many nieces and nephews. Louise was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Geuser Sr; parents, Roberto Ramino and Caterina (Boccucci) Ramino; son Raymond Geuser Jr; brothers, Robert and Alfredo; sisters, Lillian, Emily, Elizabeth and Virginia; and best friends George, Freda and Eleanor.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, (May 26), 5-8pm at Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave, West Hartford, CT 06110. The funeral procession will be on Saturday, (May 27), 9:15 am from the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, 467 S. Quaker Lane, West Hartford, CT 06110. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, West Hartford. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Online condolences may be made at www.SheehanHilbornBreen.com
