Theresa Rita (Gadoury) Marceau, 92, beloved wife of the late Paul E. Marceau died peacefully Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Hartford Hospital. Rita is survived by two children, her daughter, Susan A. Marceau and her son, Dennis A. Marceau, both of West Hartford. Rita served in the U. S. Navy as a Wave during World War I I. She had been an employee of the Aetna Life and Casualty Co. retiring after 25 years of service. Following her retirement, she became a member of the West Hartford and Elmwood Senior Centers where she was an avid bingo player. The funeral procession will be Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 9:15 am from the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at the Church of Saint Thomas the Apostle, West Hartford. Entombment will follow at Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Calling hours will be Friday at the funeral home from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Saturday from 8:30 am to 9:15 am.
