When we moved to West Hartford to Vanderbilt Road in the summer of 1960, the families of renown were the Harrigans, Tierneys and the Pattersons. Memories of all these families and their parents come flooding back and Joey Harrigan who was a few years older than I was, was a fun loving guy who had his own car which had some muscle as I recall. He literally married the girl next door, Barbara Grogan who was friend to all in the neighborhood. My prayers go out to the Harrigan/Grogan Families and of course Barbara and Joe's children.
