Mary DeVecchis (Ross)
Mary DeVecchis, age 100, of West Hartford, formerly of Mt. Vernon, NY, beloved wife of the late Peter DeVecchis, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2017. Mary worked for the Travelers Insurance Co., in NYC and moved to Connecticut in 1959. She also worked for Perma type in Farmington. After retiring she volunteered with the West Hartford Seniors and visited many people. She loved spending time with her family in Charlestown, RI.
Mary is survived by her three children, Judith Pierson and her husband, Gerard, her son, Peter DeVecchis, Jr., and his wife, Angelica and her son, James DeVecchis and his wife, Kathleen; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Hartford Healthcare at Home and the Stay at Home Care aides.
