Obituary for Bruce Santoro

Bruce Santoro, 65, of West Hartford, CT passed away at home on Friday, October 20th, 2017. He is predeceased by his parents, Angelo and Grayce (Sherman) Santoro, his wife Nancy, his sister Beverly (Santoro) Adams and husband Thom. Bruce is survived by his son Vincent Santoro and wife Alana of Gibsonia, PA and daughter Elyse Santoro and husband Peter Barr of West Hartford, CT. Also surviving is his beloved niece, Apryl Sielitzsky of Cranston, RI and cherished cousins of Denver, CO. A 1970 graduate of Hall High School, Bruce was employed by Aetna Life and Casualty for many years and was most recently employed by Home Goods Distribution Center in Bloomfield, CT. Bruce was an avid Yankee fan and reminisced often of his childhood attending Yankee games in a suit by train with his father and revered Uncle Charlie. He was a terrific story teller and took great pleasure in spending time with his son and daughter while sharing wonderful family memories. Bruce was a very loving person with a very big heart and was filled with excitement to meet his first grandchild on the way. Thank you, Dad, for all that you did. "Be cool, be careful." Calling hours will be Thursday, 4-7pm at the Sheehan-Hilborn-Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford. Funeral and burial services will be private.
