John A. Garcao, "Joe", 52, of Hartford, passed away unexpectedly on November 4, 2017. He was born in Portugal, son of the late John Garraio Garcao, Sr. and Maria Caramelo Pinheiro. Joe is survived by his twin sister and her husband, Isabel and Robert Tynik of Norwalk, a sister, Maria Garcao and her husband, William Gallagher of Simsbury and a sister and her husband, Linda and Ismael Rivera of West Simsbury. He will be dearly missed by his niece, Lauren Rivera and nephews, Alec Rivera, John Gallagher, Nathan Tynik and Kevin Gallagher.
Joe was very caring and giving of himself. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. His greatest passion was his love of motorcycles and taking long rides with friends on one of his Harleys. Funeral services were private and at the convenience of the family.
