Veronica S. Pelletier, 94, passed away on Sunday November 26, 2017 at her home in West Hartford, CT. She was born January 22, 1923 and was the daughter of the late Frances and Ralph Stewart. Ronnie was the last surviving sibling of five. In the 1940’s, she moved to the Hartford area where she called home for several decades. She later moved to Florida where she enjoyed the warm weather, feeding the turtles and walks on the beach. She was a guardian ad litem while in Florida and remained a dedicated lifelong Red Sox fan. As a cancer survivor, Ronnie dedicated her time to hospice care and caregiving. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She is survived by her son Timothy and wife Elizabeth of West Hartford, granddaughter’s Ellen of Farmington and Abbey of Amesbury, MA. She was predeceased by her son Jeffrey Coffey.
The family would like to thank the staff and many caregivers from Atria Hamilton Heights and Masonicare; especially Joan Cuminale and Hermin Henry for their kind and dedicated work. Services will be held at The Asylum Congregational Church Hartford, 814 Asylum Ave, CT in the Chapel on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 10:00 am, refreshments following in the Twichell Room.
