Jose F. Almeida, 91, of Rocky Hill, beloved husband of late Alzira (Laires) Almeida, died Monday, December 11, 2017. Born in Penalva do Castelo, Portugal, he retired from the Holo Khrome Co.
Mr. Almeida leaves two daughters, Maria Fernanda and Maria Conceicao, a sister, Luiza Gomes; three brothers, Mario, Manuel and Victor Almeida; five grandchildren, Carlos, Cristina, Jason, Mafalda and Rony and two great-grandchildren, Isabel and Isaiah.
Calling hours will be TODAY from 4 to 7 pm at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford. The funeral procession will be Thursday, 9:00 am from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Hartford.
