Gleisy Di Benedetto Nardini, rose to heaven on January 11, 2018, with her daughter and husband at her side. She was born in Maracay, Venezuela on July 19, 1964 to Juana Mercedez Griman and Erminio Di Benedetto. In 2002, she moved to the United States with her daughter where she eventually settled down in Farmington, CT and met the love of her life, James Nardini. They married in New York on August 8, 2008, and loved watching funny movies, going on vacation and taking long walks. Gleisy had a genuinely giving heart and a passion for helping others. She was a fighter and an inspiration – to know her was to love her! She is survived by her husband James Nardini, her daughter Loredanna Di Benedetto, her two grandchildren Gia and Gianluca, her granddog Barbie, and 9 siblings: Beatriz, Giovanni, Oswaldo, Xiomara, Orlando, Valentino, Claudia, Leonardo, and Maryelis. She is now in paradise eternally shining light upon us, she’s the sun that brightens our days and the moon that brightens our nights.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 16, 2018,
