Obituary for Josephine Branday (Lach)

Josephine Branday, 88, of Farmington, beloved wife of the late Alfred B. Branday, passed from this earth on Saturday, January 20, 2018. Daughter of the late Bruno Lach and Josephine (Mierscwinski) Lach, she lived in Farmington for the last 43 years. She graduated from Hartford High School in 1948. She worked for the Hartford Courant for over 25 years and was a member of the prestigious Thomas Green Club. Josephine is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Mark John Branday and Paula Cote Branday of Gig Harbor, WA; three beloved grandchildren, Taylor John Branday, Justin Ryan Branday, Paige Violette Branday and one great grandchild, Beckett Aries Branday. She is also survived by three sisters, Wanda Bedard of Middletown, Irene Stevens of Clearwater Fl. and Gloria Frickman of Tampa FL., along with many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Thursday, (January 25), from 5-7pm at the Sheehan-Hilborn-Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Avenue, West Hartford.
Funeral procession will be Friday, (January 26), 9:15 am from the funeral home, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Brigid Church, West Hartford.
