With sad and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Patricia Jane LeConche on May 27, 2015; following a brave, graceful, yet difficult battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. After being diagnosed on March 12, Patti's spirit remained strong and there was not a day, even in her last moments in this life, that she was not surrounded by love, kindness, support, and generosity of her family and friends.Patti is survived by the love of her life, Charles LeConche; her children Michael and his wife Lynore, and Patti-Ann and her husband Jamie; the true lights of her life, Kyle, Katie, Alycia and Robert. She is also survived by her sister Annamae.
Patti was predeceased by her loving and supportive parents, Mary Margaret (Lehey) and Peter Kliarsky. Patti will be laid to rest by their sides.Patti was a talented and passionate hairdresser in the Hartford and West Hartford area for more then forty years. She formed many special friendships in the profession over the years and she always found great pride in her work, as well as true joy in bringing the beauty into the lives of so many. Patti's family would like to thank Dr. Karen Hook, Fellow Anurag Sharma, the staff from Oncology 6 and Medical 4, and the entire team at UCONN's Neag Comprehensive Cancer Center for their kind and compassionate care. They provided Patti with hope and the opportunity to fight; both of which gave Patti the gift of time with those she loved. We are and will be forever thankful. We would also like to thank the caring staff at Governor's House in Simsbury. Patti's family and friends are asked to gather in remembrance and love at Sheehan-Hilborn-Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Avenue, West Hartford, from 4-6pm on Sunday, May 31.
