The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Thomas Horan can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Dear Kim & Family,
We were saddened to hear about Tom's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Tom was Art's first and most influential postmaster at the Broad Brook post office. "He taught me everything I needed to know to capably do my rca job. I can honestly say I had many good laughs with Tom every day. He had a great sense of humor, there was NEVER a bad day at work". So sorry for your loss . . .

Condolence: I am from the Aiken community and I knew Tom as the crossing guard Mr. Tom. He always had a smile on his face. A smile that showed what a kind and giving person he was. His presence everyday was so refreshing. To my children and me he was a staple of the Aiken community. I'm so sad to hear he had to battle pancreatic cancer. My deepest condolences on your loss of such a wonderful man.

Condolence: Dear Kim and Family. I grew up on Sidney Avenue and was good friends with Tom's sister Cathy. I spent a lot of time in the Horan household. I remember Tom as "the teenage" brother. He was an alter server and Father Lanouette would drive his sports car over for a visit. My sister Andrea resides on Sidney Avenue and would always speak highly of Tom as a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. I extend my deepest sympathy. I am sure that God welcomed Tom with open arms into His heavenly home.

Condolence: Kim,

In my 25 years with the U.S. Postal Service, Tom was one of the nicest people I had met. He would always take the time to talk and was always a gentleman. He will truly be missed. My sincerest condolences to you and your family.
