Nicola Mancini, 82, of West Hartford, beloved husband of Angela (Guerrera) Mancini, died Friday, November 25, 2016. Born in Pontelandolfo, Italy, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Angela (Guerrera) Mancini and came to the U.S. in 1938. Nicola lived in West Hartford for over 60 years. He was a member of Local 478, retired from Balf-Savin Co. and was a communicant of St. Brigid Church, West Hartford. Besides his wife, he leaves his daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Jeff Wolcott of West Hartford; a granddaughter, Kim Wolcott of Southington; two sisters, Nicolina Mancini and Connie Mancini both of West Hartford; his sisters-in-law, Phyllis Polletta and her husband Ed of Waterbury and Carole Mancini of Kensington; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts and cousins. He also leaves his beloved "Egypt". Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Joseph and Ada Guerrera; two brothers, Victor and Danny Mancini; his brother-in-law, Alfredo Mancini and a nephew, Thomas Mancini.
The funeral procession will be Wednesday, (November 30), 9:15 am from the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 am in St. Brigid Church, West Hartford. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, West Hartford. Calling hours will be Tuesday,(November 29), from 5 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
